What we collect

When you submit a consultation form, place an order through our shop, or subscribe to our list, we collect the information you provide — name, email, phone, event details, delivery address, and zip code. When you check out, our payment processor and Shopify collect billing and card details directly; we do not store payment card numbers ourselves. We also collect standard analytics about how the site is used, including pages viewed and approximate location.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to consultation inquiries, fulfill and deliver orders, send transactional confirmations, and — only with your consent — send seasonal availability and studio updates. We may use aggregated, non-identifying analytics to improve the site.

Third parties

We share data only with the providers we need to operate the studio: Shopify (orders and checkout), our payment processor, our email delivery / CRM tool, and our analytics provider. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and rights

We retain inquiry and order records for as long as is reasonably necessary to operate the business and meet legal obligations. You may request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal data at any time by emailing erica@evfloraldesign.com.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember cart contents, keep you logged in where applicable, and measure traffic.

Cookie categories and your choices

We group cookies into three categories: strictly necessary (cart, checkout, security — always active), analytics (Google Analytics, used to measure traffic), and marketing (advertising and measurement pixels). Non-essential categories are set to denied until you choose otherwise in our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the site footer.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request a copy of that information, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (including cross-context behavioral advertising), to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising and analytics cookies may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law; you may opt out through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, email, phone, address), commercial information (orders and event bookings), internet activity (pages viewed, referral source), and approximate geolocation derived from IP. We collect this to fulfill orders, respond to inquiries, and operate and improve the site. We retain it only as long as needed for those purposes and legal recordkeeping.

Global Privacy Control

We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. If your browser transmits GPC, we automatically apply an opt-out for that browser.

Shine the Light

Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Requests may be sent to erica@evfloraldesign.com.

Submitting a request

Email erica@evfloraldesign.com or call (707) 341-3474 with the subject "California Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using information already on file and respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where permitted. An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission.

SMS and email communications

Marketing email and text messages are sent only with your consent. You may unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message, or reply STOP to text messages. Transactional messages about an active order or booking are not marketing.
